VARIES FOR EACH JOB

• Cut out damaged section
• Replace with new plywood or OSB of the same thickness
• Secure to joists and reinforce with blocking if needed

• Sister damaged joists (attach new lumber alongside)
• Replace severely rotted or broken joists entirely
• Level joists before laying new sub floor

• Remove flooring and underlayment
• Tear out entire subfloor panels down to joists
• Replace with new subfloor( usually 3/4" toung-and-grove plywood or OSB

• Use a self-leveling compound over concrete or wood
• Grind down high spots
• Fill low areas before installing finished floor

• Lay a thin layer (like 1/4" plywood or cement board over subfloor)
• Lay Felt ( usually 30 lb)
